M8 (5mm) SOCKET BUTTON HEAD A4 ST/ST MACHINE SCREW

Top quality A4/316 Stainless Steel Screws, typically used in the 35mm length for securing 'Plate Heads' with 8mm holes that do not have CSK holes or slots. (Moses/Sabfoil for instance)

These screws require a suitable 'T' nut to slide in the parallel twin finbox tracks which are fitted to most solid boards.

This 'twin track system' with a 90mm pitch between the centre of the tracks is commonly referred to as 'Plate Head'.

Plate Heads big advantage is that it allows the foil to be moved backwards and forwards in the board.

The 20mm version of this screw is one we stock is for special applications.

For instance, if you run a Chinook Power Plate Tuttle or Powerbox Adaptor (or similar) and want to fit a Moses/Sabfoil (or similar) non CSK Plate foil head to it, you need a short screw so as not to penetrate into the board.
